Nursery Room Leader
Salary: £26,000 - £28,000

Requirements
Qualification: Minimum Level 3 in Early Years
Experience: Experience working in a children's day nursery, with previous experience in a similar leadership role
Knowledge: Strong understanding of EYFS and experience with Ofsted inspections and staff appraisals

Key Responsibilities:
Lead the Room Team: Oversee the daily operations of your assigned room, ensuring staff deliver outstanding care and education while maintaining a positive and nurturing atmosphere.
Deliver Quality Childcare: Ensure all children in your care are provided with stimulating activities that support their development in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
Act as a Key Person: Build strong, trusting relationships with children and their families, providing regular updates on the child's progress and working in partnership with parents/carers to meet each child's needs.
Monitor and Support Staff: Provide guidance, support, and mentoring to your team, ensuring they are following best practices, meeting individual child needs, and adhering to safeguarding procedures.
Maintain a Safe and Organised Environment: Ensure your room is always clean, well-organized, and complies with health and safety standards. Take the lead in ensuring safeguarding policies are adhered to at all times.
Liaison with Management: Work closely with the management team to implement policies, share feedback, and ensure that room operations run smoothly. Provide insights into staff development and support continuous improvements in childcare delivery.
Support with Inspections: Assist in preparing for Ofsted inspections, ensuring that all practices meet the necessary standards and regulations, and supporting your team to be inspection-ready at all times.
