At Teaching Personnel, we are collaborating closely with a school in Swinton who are actively seeking for a passionate and enthusiastic Level 3 Teaching Assistant who can support Year 3 students. The successful educator will be working in a full-time role (8:30am-3:30pm) and is required to start in school as soon as possible.
The Role:
As a Level 3 Teaching Assistant, you will work alongside our experienced teaching staff to support the learning and development of Year 3 pupils. You will assist in planning and delivering engaging lessons, provide individual and small group support, and help create a stimulating learning environment. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about education and making a difference in the lives of young learners.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide support to the class teacher in the planning and delivery of lessons
* Assist in the development of educational materials and resources
* Support the academic and emotional development of students
* Work with small groups and individual students to reinforce learning
* Help with classroom management and maintaining a positive learning environment
* Support pupils with special educational needs (SEN) as needed
* Promote positive behaviour and encourage student engagement
The Ideal Candidate:
* Experience supporting children in a primary school setting, ideally in Key Stage 2
* Strong communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team
* A good understanding of the National Curriculum and how to support students’ learning effectively
* A positive attitude and the ability to motivate and inspire children
* A Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent)
