Supportive and friendly team environment.The Role: As Nursery Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the nursery, ensuring the highest standards of care and education are maintained. You will lead and inspire your team, working closely with parents, and driving the nursery towards achieving outstanding Ofsted ratings. Key Responsibilities: Lead, motivate, and develop a team of dedicated childcare professionals. Oversee the daily operations of the nursery, ensuring compliance with all policies and procedures. Conduct regular staff meetings, appraisals, and training sessions. Maintain accurate records and ensure all paperwork is up to date. Implement and oversee the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum, ensuring a stimulating and engaging learning environment. Monitor and evaluate the quality of teaching and learning, identifying areas for improvement. Ensure the nursery meets and exceeds Ofsted standards. Build and maintain strong relationships with parents, acting as a key point of contact. Communicate effectively with parents, providing regular updates on their child's progress. Organise and promote open days, parent evenings, and nursery events. Manage the nursery budget effectively, including the administration of government funding. Ensure accurate and timely invoicing and fee collection. Develop and implement effective marketing strategies to attract new families. Promote the nursery's unique selling points and create a strong brand identity. Utilise your creativity to generate engaging content for social media and other marketing platforms. Be ready to put your own spin on the nursery and implement new ideas.Essential Requirements: Minimum Level 3 qualification in Childcare. Extensive knowledge and experience of the EYFS framework. Proven experience in a leadership role within a nursery setting. Strong understanding of government funding and its administration. Excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills. Strong marketing skills. Experience or the ability to promote open days and nursery events.
