Chef Isle of Wight £31299 Accommodation if needed DBS Required We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Chef to join our catering team at a young persons leisure retreat in the Isle of Wight In this role, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality meals in a high-volume kitchen, catering to large groups of students and staff each day. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and have a strong understanding of allergens, special diets, and religious or medical meal requirements, wed love to hear from you Key Responsibilities: Prepare and cook nutritious, balanced meals for a large number of students and staff. Ensure all meals meet dietary, religious, and medical requirements, including allergen awareness. Work efficiently in a high-volume catering environment while maintaining quality. Follow food hygiene and safety regulations to the highest standards. Assist with menu planning, incorporating variety and special dietary needs. Collaborate with the catering team to ensure smooth service and a positive dining experience. Maintain a clean and organized kitchen, following all health and safety procedures. What Were Looking For: Proven experience as a Chef in a high-volume catering environment. Strong knowledge of allergens, special diets, and food safety regulations. A passion for food and creating meals that cater to diverse needs. Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen. Food Hygiene Certificate (Level 2 or higher preferred).
