At the City of Armadale, we know that behind every payslip is a person who relies on accuracy, efficiency, and trust. That’s why we’re looking for a payroll expert to lead our team, drive process improvement, complete the finance requirements and build informative reporting.
What You Will Be Working On
As part of our payroll team, you'll:
* Lead a high-performing team to ensure payroll services are accurate, timely, and compliant.
* Manage payroll system governance, privacy, and data integrity while optimising processes.
* Provide technical expertise, training, and support across the organisation.
* Ensure seamless end-to-end payroll operations, including audits, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
* Develop insightful workforce reporting and analytics to drive decision-making.
About You
To be successful in this role, you are/have:
* A payroll pro with experience managing a team to deliver end-to-end payroll process and associated activities.
* A whiz with payroll, financial, and superannuation activities.
* A natural leader who builds high performing, engaged teams.
* Passionate about optimising systems, processes, and compliance.
* A problem-solver who loves working with data.
