Our partner is an established manufacturer of high-performance alloy components for critical applications that is seeking a talented Product Engineer to join their team and contribute to the development of technically complex components.
This role requires deep expertise in engineering materials and manufacturing processes, ensuring that products meet stringent performance criteria. Additionally, the Product Engineer will act as a key liaison between the company and key account customers, ensuring that their technical needs are fully understood and met throughout the product lifecycle.
Lead the design and development of high-performance alloy components, ensuring alignment with customer specifications and operational requirements, and conducting necessary simulations and analyses to optimize product performance.
Serve as the primary technical liaison with key account customers, managing communications, addressing technical inquiries, and ensuring that customer expectations are effectively translated into engineering solutions.
Collaborate closely with process engineers to ensure product designs are manufacturable, cost-effective, and meet quality standards, facilitating smooth transitions from design to production.
Manage multiple projects simultaneously, from initial concept through to production release, ensuring that all project milestones are achieved on time and within budget constraints.
Ensure that all products meet or exceed industry standards, regulatory requirements, and customer specifications, working in close coordination with the quality assurance team to resolve any issues related to product quality and compliance.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities for product enhancements based on customer feedback, production data, and advancements in materials science and manufacturing technologies.
Maintain comprehensive engineering documentation, including design specifications, technical reports, and communication records, while providing regular updates to management and customers on project status and developments.
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Materials Science, or a related STEM field.
Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) and simulation tools (e.g., Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
Experience in a forgings/ castings/ machined product environment with an understanding of the production and compliance manufacturing processes involved.
Knowledge of aerospace applications and performance requirements.
