More about the role
We are looking for a confident and assertive Support Worker to join a team that works in partnership with people who use our services, to enable them to live as independently as possible and to be part of their local community. As a Support Worker, you will encourage the health and well-being of the people that you support, through enabling them to be involved in a range of activities chosen by the person supported.
At Autism Initiatives, we work alongside people with autism, providing specialist services tailored to each individual. Experience is not essential, but a genuine passion for providing person-centred support as well as a positive attitude is key to being successful in this role. This is truly a rewarding role, with the opportunity for you to develop your skills, knowledge and fulfil your career aspirations.
Due to the needs of the service, a full driving licence is required.
Our Commitment
We at Autism Initiatives make a difference every day. We pride ourselves on being a values-based organisation who put the people we support at the heart of everything we do. We are also committed as an organisation to the well-being of our staff for all of the hard work they do each day.
