We are looking for a qualified Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our dedicated team here at Oakfield Veterinary Surgery. Our ideal candidate will be organised and enthusiastic about providing a high standard of animal care. This position is perfect for a qualified nurse who is looking to join a friendly team within a small animal practice. Your days will consist of general veterinary nursing duties, such as monitoring anaesthetics, nursing sick animals, administrating medicine, taking x-rays, running bloods and nurse consultations.
Rota patterns that work for you

Our flexible approach to rota patterns and working hours offers a balance that truly flexes with you and your lifestyle no matter what stage you are in your career. A typical full-time role would involve working 40 hours across 5 days per week. Saturdays on a shared rota, usually 1 in 5. There is no out-of-hours requirement.

Our practice is based in Atherstone, in the county of Warwickshire, meaning we have a beautiful rural setting but also great access to the A5 and are only 4.5 miles from Staffordshire with close links to the M42. We are a long-standing practice with a small but fantastic team with a very loyal client base. We are kitted out with fantastic facilities including 3 consult rooms, a theatre, digital X-ray facilities, a laser therapy unit, an ultrasound scanner and also a cardiac scanner.
By far the best part of our practice is our amazing team, we have 2 vets, 3 veterinary nurses, 1 veterinary care assistant and 2 receptionists. We are a close-knit team and work together to provide the very best service we can.
