ROLE DESCRIPTION We are seeking two highly organised and detail-oriented Healthcare Coordinators with strong administrative experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will be compassionate, detail-oriented, have a healthcare-related degree/ qualification and experience in patient relations, ensuring that our patients receive the highest standard of service. This role involves interacting with patients, understanding their healthcare needs, providing support, and ensuring seamless communication between patients and our healthcare teams. The Healthcare Coordinator will be responsible for the first point of contact for patients, provide guidance on healthcare services available, book appointments and manage patient care concerns. The ability to communicate complex healthcare concepts clearly and empathetically is essential as well as having a problem-solving mindset. The Healthcare Coordinator will be supporting healthcare operations ensuring seamless communication between patients and clinical and administrative teams. This role combines healthcare knowledge with administrative expertise to ensure smooth operations, optimise patient care, and improve overall efficiency within our organisation. PERSON SPECIFICATION Education: Associate's degree in healthcare administration, nursing, or a related field is required. A Bachelor's/Masters’ degree is preferred. Relevant certifications (e.g., Certified Medical Office Manager, Certified Healthcare Administrative Professional) are a plus. Experience: Minimum of 3 years of administrative experience in a healthcare setting. Experience in patient coordination, office management, or related healthcare operations roles. Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems and healthcare management software. Skills and Abilities: Strong organisational and multitasking skills, with the ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks efficiently. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a strong customer-service orientation. Confident in medical terminology and clinical processes. Knowledge of healthcare regulations, including patient privacy and insurance processes. Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and EHR systems.
