STUDENT PLACEMENT POSITION – Laboratory and Validation Teams
Location: Bard Pharmaceuticals Ltd, Manufacturing Campus, Cambridge
Contract: 12 months, starting July 2025

Role Responsibilities
1. To provide practical, analytical support within the Stability, Analytical services and Validation teams, which involves testing finished and intermediate products manufactured at Cambridge and supporting validation activities.
2. Ensuring that all activities are undertaken in compliance with company standard operating procedures (SOPs), Good Laboratory and Manufacturing Practice (GxP) and Health and Safety in the workplace regulations.
3. To carry out the analysis and testing of the Company’s pharmaceutical finished products using a variety of analytical techniques – mainly HPLC, UV Dissolution and Karl Fischer.
4. Maintain accurate, clear and concise written records of all work undertaken, following the analytical methods and validation protocols, making sure all the correct documentation is present within the relevant reports. Identifying out of specification (OOS) results and assisting in investigations.
