Camera Security Services is a family owned and managed business based in Chippenham, providing integrated security solutions to companies, local authorities, councils, schools, and individuals across the country. We specialise in CCTV, intruder alarms, access control, fire safety and remote CCTV monitoring. We have a national client base.
The role:
We are seeking experienced and enthusiastic multi skilled engineers to join our well established (20+ years) and growing organisation. We have Service, Installation and Hybrid roles available. This is an excellent career progression opportunity.
Earn up to £50k per annum, including overtime and on call. Salary is negotiable depending on experience.
Our Service Engineers are responsible for maintaining all security systems in line with customer requirements and current standards. You will deliver a world class customer service to our valued clients ensuring that the work is completed to an exceptional standard.
Our installation engineers are responsible for installing, commissioning, carrying out ongoing upgrades and maintaining Intruder Alarm, CCTV, Access control and fire safety systems.
We work on large CCTV, Intruder Alarm, Fire and Access Control projects and can offer job variety; we work on very high-end stately homes, large multi-million pound properties, historic buildings, large commercial properties and public buildings.
Your duties will include but are not limited to:
Understanding the clients’ needs and fulfilling all jobs required
Maintaining fire & security systems in line with current standards and customer requirements
Responding to demand service calls on all types of fire and security systems
Completing all provided documentation including site schematics/drawings
Carrying out annual service visits and responding to incoming faults raised The Ideal Candidate
We are looking for someone who has the drive and enthusiasm to provide an outstanding service to our customers every day.
Our ideal candidate has:
Experience as a multi-disciplined engineer with a good all-round knowledge of Fire (preferred) and Security Systems
The ability to work to deadlines
A great communicator
Experience of front-line customer service will be preferential
A full UK Driving Licence
You must be flexible to travel and be part of an on-call rota.

Due to the nature of the Fire & Security industry and specific contracts, if successful, we will need to complete several background checks including a credit check, five-year referencing history and DBS check. All offers will be subject to successful completion of these background checks.
