Data Integration Manager

The role
The Data Integration Manager (DIM) is responsible for sourcing and managing third-party data within this project. This project requires the managed throughput of significant quantities of controlled data – primarily technical documentation – to the end-users.
Main duties will include:
* Act as the project’s subject matter expert and point of contact on the acquisition of third-party/OEM data to support project requirements.
* Ensure systems are in place to demand and manage the acquisition of data ahead of its use, including checks of accuracy and consistency.
* Form good working relationships with the suppliers of third-party data (the UK MOD and its contractors).
* Work closely with the Training Equipment Manager to ensure that all external data requirements of training device teams are met.
* Work closely with the Head of Courseware and Media Development to ensure that all external data requirements of the courseware development team are met.
* Work closely with the Configuration Management team to ensure that existing Raytheon UK and Project Delta data processes are adhered to.
* Work closely with the project Security representatives to ensure compliance with existing regulations on handling and storage of protected materials.
* Work closely with Raytheon’s Digital Technology function to ensure that storage and retrieval systems are optimised.
* Provide regular reporting against developed metrics to ensure that the correct data is reaching the end-users in the time required.
* Actively manage data in use to ensure awareness of any subsequent up-issues by the originators.
* Conduct regular audits to ensure data integrity and compliance.
Minimum Requirements
Personnel assigned to this role possess the basic knowledge, skills and experience but the organization desired the following additional knowledge, skills or experience:
* Experience in managing data and documentation in large quantities and in a dynamic environment.
* Proficiency in data management tools and software, including a high level of expertise with MS Excel.
* Experience in working with stakeholders to identify data required, and with suppliers of data to ensure compliant and timely access.
* Ability to quickly form effective working relationships with all stakeholders required.
* Configuration management processes and systems.
* Possess, or be capable of obtaining, Security Clearance.
* Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
