We are looking for a Small Animal Vet to join our team. We will help to develop a 1-2 year newly qualified graduate with the full support from our GDP mentor, but will welcome all levels of experience. We are a 100% small animal practice based in Shrewsbury, Shropshire, close to the Welsh border and the Shropshire hills. If you choose to join us you will have access to a full range of diagnostic equipment which includes video endoscopy, bronchoscope, dental and digital X-rays and ultrasound. We have a fantastic nursing team who all have their own specialisms including cat only clinics, behaviour, mobility and laser therapy clinics. We also offer acupuncture. We are all passionate about exceptional patient care and every patient is treated as our own. We will always allow you enough time to work up cases offering 15-minute appointments as standard and 30-minute appointments where needed. We are really keen to support applicants reach their full potential and will help you develop your skills with regular one to ones, vet meetings, CPD and admin time. Our rota allows for a good work-life balance with a 4-day week plus 1 in 3 Saturday mornings, but no OOH. Although we are looking to fill this position with a full time Vet, we are open to part-time applicants too.
