Role Overview:
They are looking to add another talented Design Director to their superstar team and drive the creative direction of projects from concept to completion. As the Design Director, you will be responsible for leading a talented design team, ensuring the delivery of high-quality designs that meet clients' expectations and align with their standards for excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead Creative Direction : Establish and drive the creative vision across all projects, ensuring design solutions meet the client’s brand, goals, and aesthetic.
* Team Leadership : Inspire, mentor, and manage a multidisciplinary design team, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous learning.
* Client Engagement : Serve as a key client liaison, effectively communicating design concepts and leading presentations to achieve buy-in and satisfaction.
* Project Management : Oversee multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met.
* Innovation & Strategy : Stay ahead of industry trends, incorporating innovative solutions and sustainable practices into design processes.
* Collaboration : Work closely with project managers, engineers, and contractors to ensure cohesive and functional designs.
* Quality Assurance : Uphold design standards and maintain our reputation for delivering exceptional results.
Qualifications:
* Experience : 8+ years in interior design, with a minimum of 3 years in a leadership role, applicants must have a strong office design background either in Commercial D&B or Architecture
* Education : Degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field
* Portfolio : Proven track record of successful projects with a strong portfolio that demonstrates innovative and high-quality design.
* Technical Skills : Proficiency in design software (AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, etc.).
* Leadership & Communication : Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to guide teams and influence client decisions effectively.
