Role: Administrator Location: City of London, EC3M Start Date: ASAP Hours: 08:30 - 17:00 (40hrs p/w) 1st Step Solutions are working on behalf of a leading UK Construction Contractor that have a requirement for an Administrator to join them. Duties: Ensure that defined administrative functions of the department are carried out in a timely efficient manner. Maintain record keeping systems for the department, some of which will be computerised. Open and distribute all incoming mail. Assist the Manager, Operations Manager with all typed and computer generated correspondence, written documents and procedures. General day to day administrative duties Updating of the system with information from sub-contractors. Updating of the system with information from operational staff members. To promote a culture of customer service to both internal and external customers and partners and to liaise with other departments regarding issues if required. To undertake any other reasonable tasks and duties relevant to the post. Skills/Experience: Good basic knowledge of computers and software. Performing in a busy and demanding Office Environment. Maintain accurate data records. Attention to detail. Does not mind doing large volumes of the same type of work - repetitive. Previous administration experience and of using various systems
