About The Role As a Fire and Security Engineer, you will split your time between installing and servicing fire and security systems. From fault-finding to commissioning, you’ll play a key role in delivering high-quality solutions to ensure the safety and security of our clients. Key Responsibilities Installation : Install fire alarm, intruder alarm, CCTV, and access control systems to the highest standards. Servicing & Maintenance : Conduct routine maintenance and fault-finding on fire and security systems, ensuring compliance with regulations. Commissioning : Test and commission systems to ensure functionality and reliability. Client Interaction : Provide exceptional customer service, explaining system functions and updates to clients. Documentation : Maintain accurate records of work completed, including service reports and installation certificates. Compliance : Ensure all work adheres to industry standards and health and safety regulations. What We Are Looking For Experience : Minimum 2-3 years’ experience in fire and security installation and servicing. Knowledge : Strong understanding of fire alarm systems, intruder alarms, CCTV, and access control systems. Certifications : FIA modules, manufacturer training, or similar qualifications (preferred but not essential). Skills : Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Driving License : Full UK driving license required. Independence : Ability to work autonomously and manage multiple tasks effectively.
