MANE are currently recruiting for Paint Finishing Opwerative based in Cambridge for an ongoing contract with a Global Aerospace Company (Night Shift).
Job Summary:
This role supports the paint team in delivering high-quality, accurate products to meet production requirements.
Primary Responsibilities:
Prepare metal and composite parts for the painting process.
Apply masking to parts precisely as specified.
Read and interpret technical drawings accurately.
Provide progress updates to the Team Leader when needed.
Perform additional tasks as assigned.Performance Indicators:
Daily completion rate of parts.
Product rejection rates.
Efficiency in task completion.Qualifications and Skills Needed:
Knowledge:
Ability to read and understand technical drawings.
Experience with vibrating hand tools.
Familiarity with measuring tools and equipment.
Skills and Competencies:
Strong attention to detail.
Skilled in the use of vibrating hand tools.
Accurate measuring and filler-mixing skills.
Effective verbal and written communication.
Self-driven, able to work both independently and as part of a team.
Good listening abilities.
Capacity to prioritise tasks and manage work under pressure.Professional Experience:
At least 1 year of experience in a production setting.
Experience with vibrating hand tools for at least 1 year is advantageous.Hours of work:
