Arriva TrainCare is part of Arriva, you’ll be part of a professional team with these core behaviours at heart; • We care passionately • We do the right thing • We make the difference What You’ll Do: Operational delivery of contractual obligations for the servicing of the Cross Country Voyager Fleet and Class 170 Fleet, at non-ATC servicing locations. These include but are not exclusively limited to: o RTS (Holbeck, Leeds – Voyager Fleet Servicing) o GWR (Laira, Plymouth – Voyager Fleet Servicing) o GWR (Long Rock, Penzance – Voyager Fleet Servicing) o UKRL (Leicester – Class 170 Fleet Servicing) Primary point of contact for CrossCountry Fleet Management lead, CrossCountry and Alstom maintenance planning and control teams (i.e. STP/LTP). Ensure work is performed in a safe and effective manner in accordance with the Health and Safety at Work Act,1974 GE/RT Network Rail Rule book, Group Standards, Depot Operations Instructions and the Arriva Traincare Quality, Safety and Environmental procedures and appropriate Vehicle Maintenance Instructions. Developing effective and collaborative working relationships with CrossCountry, Alstom (overall Voyager Fleet maintainer), non-ATC servicing locations and internal ATC stakeholders. Assist and lead accident investigation and be responsible for implementing improvements and lessons learned. Assisting with contract reviews for all non-ATC location matters and actively follow issues through until satisfactory resolution. Manage and negotiate all non-ATC location commercial matters in conjunction with the ATC Commercial team and Indirect Purchasing team. Collating contract documents and proactively gathering and processing relevant data for effective contract management. Ensuring all CrossCountry assets (i.e. free issue tooling and equipment) is well maintained and managed at non-ATC locations. Conduct scheduled and unplanned audits at non-ATC locations to ensure required compliance and adherence to safety standards as part of this role. You will be required to carry out site visits/audits both during the day and overnight. This will involve nightshifts & periods away from home. Ensure customer staff are carrying out all works to the required and agreed safety standards, ensuring RAMS are verified and adhered to operationally Full job description available on request What You Bring: Qualifications – Recognised technical or managerial qualification at HND level or equivalent. Experience – previous experience in a contract/commercial management role (ideally managing engineering contracts), also operational management of preventative and scheduled maintenance programs, audit training and experience desirable. Computer Skills – excellent computer proficiency MS Office 365 – Teams, Share Point, Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Forms, SAP Power BI and Outlook Communication - Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with customers and all internal stakeholders to improve service quality and value for money where appropriate. Knowledge – strong commercial acumen, negotiation skills with the ability to motivate and influence and excellent knowledge of the rail industry Valid driving licence Ready to start your next journey?
