The role:
Machine Operatives are responsible for the cutting and packing of cheese using modern, intelligent, and technological production lines, in a high care food environment. Key compliance is critical for the role as maintaining health, food safety, and food legality by following procedures, ensures our client produces a quality product for our consumers. The Machine Operative plays an integral role for helping our client achieve their day-to-day business needs.
About you
Essential:
1. Be able to work rotating shift patterns.
2. Must own your own independent reliable transport.
3. Must be physically fit as you will be on your feet all day and will need to occasional heavy lifting.
Desirable:
4. Mathematical calculations to collate production outputs.
5. Follow procedures diligently.
6. Hard-worker and a problem-solver.
7. Flexible in work hours and duties, including washdown and hygiene requirements.
8. Keen eye for to detail.
9. Mechanically minded.
10. Previous food production line experience and food safety qualification.
11. Production line set up and operating and changeovers experience.
12. Experience of working with a critical control points.
13. Non-food production line experience.
14. Alpma and PFM machine experience.
Salary:
11.44 per hour (days) / 11.94 per hour (nights).
Hours
Rotating shift pattern:
6.00am to 2.00pm, 2.00pm to 10.00pm, 10pm to 6am, Mon to Thurs.
6.00am to 1.00pm, 1.00pm to 8.00pm, 8.00pm to 3.00am, Fridays.
