The Lord Nelson Hotel has a traditional pub interior full of character, with natural finishes in wood and exposed stone walls giving it a welcoming feel. The layout consists of three areas: the public bar, function room, and games room. The public bar is open plan and has a galley-type bar as the focal point. The function room is a good size and perfect for a variety of group occasions. The games room features a pool table and hatch access to the bar.
Externally, the pub has a traditional community pub appearance with bold signage. There is parking to the front and side, along with some picnic benches to help make the most of the summer months.

The private accommodation is of good standard, suitable for a family. It consists of three bedrooms, kitchen diner, bathroom, office, and large lounge. Where required, appropriate works will be carried out in line with the Star Pubs & Bars Ready to Trade Promise.

The calculation of the Estimated Minimum Ingoing Costs assumes a minimum deposit of one month's rent and that fixtures and fittings (F&F) are rented. The subsequent deposit build-up and F&F rental costs should be included in your financial assumptions in your business plan. Note that on FRI and Investment Tenancy Agreements, deposits will always be three months' rent in advance, and fixtures and fittings (F&F) must always be purchased. A deposit of six months' rent will be required for operators trading under a Limited Company with no Guarantors. To ensure a successful start-up, all applicants must have a minimum of £10,000 un-borrowed funds.
