Account Manager for Medical Supplies
Field Based in Northern Ireland
Salary £40,000 plus uncapped commission of over £30,000 (uncapped)

Job Purpose:
The Account Manager's role is to increase sales and margins by attracting new customers and expanding additional products and services to their existing customers.
Activities and responsibilities:
Designs and executes an account plan to build new and grow existing business
Creates and maximises customer value and loyalty, resulting in long-term relationships
Collectively works with internal team members like Clinical Sales, Product Managers and Customer Service Agents to drive sales success and customer satisfaction
Manages tenders and price quotations in collaboration with the Customer Service & Tender Management team as well as the product divisions
Gains customer insights and identifies the right customer stakeholders to help drive the purchasing process
Works according to the Challenger Sales methodology
Launches new products and solutions to customers
Takes active involvement in the complaint process for his/her own customers
Provides sales forecasts and updates them regularly
Maintains and uses CRM data to improve (his/her own) performance
Collects customer feedback and market insights, and makes suggestions for improvements on products and services to the product divisions
Organises symposia, conferences and regional exhibitions to promote products (both online and offline)
Job requirements:
Successfully completed higher education or relevant work experience in business and/or healthcare
Healthcare industry experience and knowledge of hospital decision-making processes are advantageous
Minimum 2 years of experience in sales
Able to quickly build relationships with key people internally and externally
Strong drive for results
Well-organised and structured
Ability to achieve results in a fast-paced, changing, highly demanding environment
Solid analytical skills
Strong communication and influencing skills
