You will be advising, supporting, coaching and influencing our managers across the full employee lifecycle, as well as leading on aspects of investigation, disciplinary, grievance and capability. - Writing and implementing policies across employee lifecycle and building relationships with key stakeholders to ensure correct understanding of policies and procedures. - Manage a wide range of ER cases including absence, conduct, capability and grievances. - Drafting up invites, meeting templates, outcomes and supporting with note taking where required. - Support the Head of People and Wellbeing with Employment Tribunal preparation. - Analysing and interpreting people data. - Lead/Support mediation meetings to resolve conflict. - Cross-cover workloads during annual leave. - Deputy to Head of People and Wellbeing, opportunity to be acting up when they are on annual leave. - Other duties as requested. Must haves - Prior experience within a similar role. - Experience of leading on investigation, disciplinary, grievance meetings, capability hearings. - TUPE transfer. - Experience in coaching and advising at a management level. - Solution driven team player. - Expert stakeholder management. - Specific attention to detail and accuracy of information. - Strong verbal and written communication skills. Nice to haves - CIPD level 5 or have a sound working knowledge of ACAS guidelines and employment legislation, with intention to work towards your CIPD level 5. - Previous experience within the care sector.
