The Opportunity
Our People Team is aligning for growth, both in the UK and internationally. We’ve been tasked with building a team that can deliver an exceptional candidate and colleague experience across multiple territories and to say we’re excited is an understatement.
To bring this dream to life and add skills into the team that will help us deliver, we need an experienced People Partner to inspire and drive our People agenda across our UK and international markets.
Our People Plan is simple - we want to attract, train & retain great people and in this role, you’ll own the ‘retention’ aspect of our strategy, whilst working collaboratively with colleagues in the People Team & the business to add value where it matters most.
This role has it all for an experienced HR professional, from employee relations, reward and recognition, engagement and performance amongst the key areas, we’ll truly give you the platform to shine. You’ll be hands on, owning the day-to-day operational running of our People service alongside our awesome Senior People Advisor, providing the business with a high quality service whilst ensuring Apadmi’s core values remain at the heart of everything we do.
Not only will you be responsible for People Operations, but a core focus of this role will be to design and implement a performance culture that packs a punch, where our people have total clarity on what they need to deliver whilst we all sing off the same hymn sheet in terms of our progression as a business.
You’ll be joining an award-winning People Team who have brought home a number of awards over the last 12 months, so we’re after someone who’s equally ambitious as us, not just in adding to our expanding trophy collection, but leading the charge in HR innovation. We don’t want to be like everyone else.
Reporting into our Chief People Officer, this role will be part of the Leadership Team in the People function. You’ll get the licence to be creative with your solutions and the autonomy to be visible across the business, getting the freedom to work collaboratively with our leaders to implement a people plan with a difference.
As a People Team, we work at pace, we’re highly organised, we’re clear on what we need to do, working hard on our goals and key results and we hold ourselves and each other accountable. We play for the team and we play to win, so we need someone in this role who can fit into our way of working and who thrives in an environment where no two days are the same.
This role is a fantastic opportunity for a HR professional looking to take that next step, to think big and deliver industry leading colleague experiences that will make a significant difference to the lives of our people.
With our ambition to become the UK’s leading digital product business, this role would suit someone who is used to working in a Technology or Digital driven environment with the ability to quickly understand the technical landscape of a growing technology company.
We need someone who is up for a challenge, entrepreneurial in their approach and keen to disrupt the norm, challenging our business and our people to be better than the rest.
To give you a clear understanding of the process we’ll use for this role, you’ll go through the following steps:
1. Stage 1: Screening call with our Head of Talent Acquisition to see if you’re right for us and if we’re right for you.
2. Stage 2: Informal meeting for 30-40 minutes with our Chief People Officer for us both to find out more about each other and give you more detail on the role and priorities over the next 12-18 months. This will be done via video call.
3. Stage 3: This is the final stage and most likely to involve a face-to-face interview and presentation with our CPO and most likely a senior representative from our Senior Leadership Team who will be key stakeholders for you in the role. This is likely to take 1.5 hours.
