Programme Overview: Year 1: Work as a Cover Supervisor at a local Salisbury school, gaining essential classroom management skills and building confidence. Year 2: Complete a fully funded PGCE (Postgraduate Certificate in Education) at the same school, ensuring a supportive environment throughout your training. What You Will Gain: Salary: £20,000 - £24,000 per annum Full-time, salaried position from day one Practical classroom management experience Ongoing training and development Mentorship from experienced educators Fully funded PGCE programme in the second year Continuous professional development and guidance Guaranteed place in a school for two years What You Will Do: Year 1: As a Cover Supervisor, manage classrooms during teacher absences, lead classes, ensure students remain focused, assist with lesson planning, and offer pastoral support. Year 2: As a PGCE Trainee Teacher, complete your PGCE qualification, plan and deliver lessons, assess student progress, and work towards gaining Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
