This post is a 2 year Fixed Term Contract About the Role We are recruiting a new OD Consultant post working as a member of the HR&OD team to provide additional support for our culture change and digital skills programmes. The OD Business Consultants have specific areas of specialism and accountability but also support the OD Business Partners who work with Directors and other managers providing advice and guidance about all organisational development workstreams, to ensure that the Council continues to deliver services which directly contribute to the Council s Strategic Priorities, including Improving People s Lives. You will be part of a larger team and will work collaboratively with your colleagues to ensure continuous improvement in HR&OD service delivery. You will be involved in supporting a range of OD projects and interventions as well as improving existing ones in key areas including performance management, management development, employability, digital skills, coaching and mentoring as well as change management and staff engagement. The HR&OD Advisory team work closely with colleagues in Business Support and Health Safety and Well Being teams to provide a flexible resource across the whole team. About You If you are an OD Professional looking to develop your skills and knowledge in a constantly changing team, and have some experience and knowledge in the following key areas: Able to use digital tools to deliver engaging and blended learning content eg webinars and e-learning knowledge of a learning management system. Understanding HR&OD data to identify trends and able to produce a range of data that supports evidence based decision making Good report writing and communication skills Some knowledge of coaching and mentoring and keen to develop your skills in these areas, particularly in team coaching Able to prioritise your own work and make independent decisions Expertise in some subject areas within the OD Team s workstreams Then we d be interested in receiving your application.
