We are looking for a Stock and Systems Operative to join our team at Wincanton. Based out of the manufacturing facility for our defence customer in Govan, Glasgow. Previous stock checking and cycle counting experience would be of huge benefit.

Day to Day
20. Conducting regular stock checks across the facility and reporting any discrepancies
21. Perform cycle counting exercises as required
22. Operate customer & Wincanton IT systems as required
23. A range of duties to support the operational efficiency and general housekeeping standards of the operation
24. Undertake all training necessary to fulfil the requirement of flexibility to be able to work across all departments of the stores operation if necessary
25. Ensure the correct handling of all customer products is carried out at all stages within the facility

What will you bring?
27. Stock checking and cycle counting experience is essential
28. Able to provide and understand the need for a high standard of customer service
29. A proactive, flexible and "can do" attitude to resolve issues and challenges
30. PC literate and numerate with good communication skills, including a minimum of a basic understanding of Microsoft Office as required
31. Ability to work as part of a team but also independently and to show initiative
32. Flexibility is required regarding shift patterns (37 hours per week, initially Monday to Thursday dayshift)
33. Ability to use IT Systems in accordance with training provided
34. Attention to detail required to assume quality checking/quality control
35. Ability to train others to a high standard
36. Compliance with manual handling procedures
