Job Title: Account Executive/Business Development Manager

Key areas of the role include:
1. Relationship management- build and maintain strong relationships with key retail accounts to drive sales and grow market share.
2. Accounts- manage the day to day running of retail accounts and buyer relationships, as well as being the customers voice within the business.
3. Sales support- supporting the retail sales team and helping with administrative tasks. - Product knowledge- be experts in our products and range, with a depth of understanding of raw materials and processes.
4. Sales strategy- work with key stakeholders and customers to meet and drive business strategies.
5. Sales data and analysis- regularly track and report on account performance, KPIs and sales forecasts.
6. Activity- work with the team and customers to build strong promotional and sales plans to drive growth within the business.
7. Customer presentations- prepare and present business reviews, forecasts, sales analysis for customers, and product presentations, including cook ups.
8. New business opportunities- Identify gaps in retail accounts and growth opportunities to drive sales growth.
9. P&L- analyse account performance regularly, using data lead insights to make recommendations.
The role is largely based from the office, aligning yourself to the wider team strategy but hybrid may be considered, dependant on experience.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience in selling to and managing/supporting FMCG retailer relationships across the major multiples and discounters, excellent communication skills and attention to detail. An experience of working with a major food brand would be desirable.
