About the Role
The Council are seeking to appoint a dedicated and hardworking Principal Buildings Officer who would be responsible for assisting with the efficient and effective management and use of the Council’s operational property portfolio as part of a Corporate Landlord model.
About you
You would have experience and expertise in property management, have an understanding of building construction, statutory compliance and repair and maintenance processes. You must be able to manage an annual budget set aside for the maintenance and management of the Council’s operational property portfolio.
About us
You will form part of a busy Estates team but will have contact and work collaboratively with a range of other Council departments, Councillors and members of the public. You would largely be given the ability to manage your own workload, including a mixture of office and site based tasks. Support will be available from all staff across the Estates team, along with training and development opportunities.
