As our Marketing Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping how customers perceive and engage with our transportation services. You aren't just a marketer; you're a visionary who understands the heart of our customers and the soul of our brand. You'll be the torchbearer of the Stagecoach brand, ensuring our messaging is not just heard but felt across a designated geographical region.
What's in store? You'll be implementing the Stagecoach National Marketing Strategy, a critical task involving identifying target markets, embodying our brand essence in every communication, and tailoring strategies to local nuances while maintaining a consistent voice across regions. You're not just managing a brand; you're elevating it to new heights.
You will also play a key role in stakeholder management, being the trusted marketing partner within your region. Your role involves collaboration across various centres of excellence, driving simplification, and ensuring consistency in marketing practices. Your presence will be influential, not just in your immediate team but across Operating Companies ensuring alignment with the central strategy.
Here’s what we’re looking for:
1. Proven experience as a Marketing Manager, with expertise in campaign management, project delivery, and brand enhancement, preferably in a service-focused industry.
2. A professional qualification like CIM, or equivalent, would be ideal.
3. Exceptional problem-solving skills, with a flair for creativity and innovation in marketing.
4. Strong leadership qualities to motivate and manage teams, with great communication skills for effective stakeholder engagement.
5. Analytical prowess, with a knack for data interpretation and a focus on results.
6. Ability to juggle multiple tasks, adapt to changing priorities, and maintain a proactive, results-oriented mindset.
Your role will be based in our Sunderland depot. We need someone ready to dive into the deep end, ready to tackle challenges head-on and play a crucial role in not just promoting a brand but spearheading a movement.
The role will be Maternity cover for a period of up to 12 months.
