About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Registered Nurse to join our team in the Pre Assessment department at Duchy Hospital in Harrogate. The successful candidate will have a strong clinical background and excellent communication skills. They will be responsible for ensuring that standards of patient care are consistently maintained, promoting customer satisfaction and safeguarding the well-being and interests of all patients.
Key Responsibilities:
* To maintain high standards of patient care, adhering to operational policies and procedures.
* To promote and enhance customer service and satisfaction.
* To act as an advocate for patients and demonstrate courage in speaking up when concerns arise about care.
* To conduct professional activities within the framework provided by the Nursing Midwifery Council (NMC) Codes of Conduct and the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
Requirements:
* Registered general nurse level 1 or Diploma/BSc in Nursing studies.
* Evidence of relevant clinical professional development, preferably certification RN with valid NMC Registration.
* Mentorship Qualification (ENB 998 or equivalent).
* Awareness of NMC Code of Accountability.
* Excellent clinical knowledge and basic workload/shift management skills.
* Maths, English GCSE at grades A to C or equivalent functional skills level 2 evidence.
* Proficient in using a PC, including software and systems.
* At least 18 months post-registration experience and outpatient nurse experience.
