Cellular Pathology is a busy department, receiving around 35,000 histopathology and non-gynaecological requests each year and performing over 120,000 tests.

Pre-Registration Trainee Pharmacy Technician

Job Overview
We are looking to appoint a Pre-registration Trainee Pharmacy Technician at The Royal Shrewsbury Hospital. The role is challenging, varied, complex, and responsive to the increasingly innovative development of new medicines and their role in healthcare today.
The training opportunity is an advanced apprenticeship full-time fixed-term contract for 2 years. You will study to achieve the Level 3 Pharmacy Technician (Integrated) Apprenticeship. This qualification is approved to enable you to apply for registration to practice as a Pharmacy Technician with the General Pharmaceutical Council. Training and support will be provided by work-based assessors and course tutors during your training.
