About the Role: As a Graduate Teaching Assistant, you’ll work closely with class teachers to support primary school students with their academic and personal development. This is a great opportunity to build valuable experience in a supportive school environment. Key Responsibilities for a Graduate Teaching Assistant: Assist teachers in delivering engaging lessons to primary students. Provide one-to-one and small-group support to help students meet learning goals. Support students with special educational needs (SEN) in an inclusive classroom. Help with interventions for literacy, numeracy, and social development. Monitor student progress and share feedback with teachers. Assist with classroom organisation and behaviour management. Build positive relationships with students to encourage their confidence in learning. What We’re Looking For in a Graduate Teaching Assistant candidate: A degree in Education, Psychology, Child Development, or a related field (preferred, but not essential). Experience working with children (in an educational, childcare, or mentoring role) is desirable. A passion for education and supporting young learners. Strong communication skills to build relationships with pupils and staff. Patience, resilience, and adaptability in a busy classroom. A proactive, enthusiastic approach to learning and development.
