Job Title - Home Purchase and Acquisitions Officer
Location - London SE1

Role summary - Our client is looking for a dedicated Home Purchase and Acquisitions Officer to manage various property purchase schemes on behalf of the Client. The role includes facilitating rehousing for regeneration projects, shared equity, and other schemes that increase the companies housing stock. You will be responsible for financial assessments, overseeing a small, shared ownership portfolio, and ensuring a smooth transition for new homeowners.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Assist with rehousing homeowners affected by regeneration, addressing concerns, and ensuring smooth relocations.
2. Manage the Cash Incentive schemes and other property purchasing processes.
3. Oversee the shared ownership portfolio, including rent and service charge collection, staircasing, and adherence to the Debt Recovery Protocol.
4. Liaise with various stakeholders, including solicitors, surveyors, and external valuers, to ensure compliance and financial integrity.
5. Administer payment processes within the companies's financial procedures.
6. Stay updated on relevant legislation and ensure compliance with anti-money laundering and fraud detection regulations.
Requirements:
7. Strong knowledge of leasehold management and home purchase schemes.
8. Experience supporting residents with rehousing, ideally within regeneration projects.
9. Ability to manage a multifaceted workload and meet deadlines.
10. Experience dealing with sensitive resident issues and communicating effectively both orally and in writing.
11. Familiarity with financial management, particularly in home purchase schemes.
