Are you a financial expert ready to make a difference in housing delivery? We're looking for a Principal Accountant to provide strategic financial planning that directs our housing initiatives and ensures the success of key housing projects.
As Principal Accountant, you'll provide essential financial planning that supports the delivery of the Council's priorities, supporting over 5,300 existing and new social housing initiatives.
You'll oversee capital accounting and financing for the Housing Revenue Account (HRA), the general fund housing stock, and the Council's property company, Stone Circle. With responsibility for maintaining a £30M HRA Business Plan for 2025/26, you'll forecast the impact of investments in housing stock, ensure value for money, and design and monitor the delivery of a 30-year plan.
