As a Year 5/6 Teacher, you will:
1. Plan and deliver engaging, creative, and challenging lessons in line with the national curriculum.
2. Foster a love of learning and curiosity in your pupils.
3. Assess and track pupil progress, providing tailored support to meet individual needs.
4. Promote a positive and inclusive classroom environment where every child feels valued and encouraged.
5. Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a smooth transition for pupils between Year 5 and Year 6.
6. Contribute to the wider school community through extracurricular activities and school events.
The ideal candidate will:
1. Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience teaching Key Stage 2 (Year 5 and/or 6 preferred).
2. Have a thorough understanding of the national curriculum and assessment frameworks.
3. Demonstrate excellent classroom management skills and a proactive approach to teaching.
4. Be committed to fostering a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment.
5. Show strong communication and teamwork skills to engage with pupils, parents, and colleagues.
6. Bring enthusiasm, creativity, and a genuine passion for education.
