What skills and experience we're looking for
Thistley Hough Academy is a mixed school catering for students aged 11-16 located in the village of Penkhull, Stoke-on-Trent. The Academy joined the Creative Education Trust in September 2013 and is now one of Stoke-on-Trent’s most improved schools and is graded as Ofsted ‘good’.
We are looking to appoint a well-qualified and enthusiastic Teacher of MFL, ideally with and French & Spanish Specialism to join this vibrant, diligent and supportive department. Where appropriate, there will be opportunity for additional responsibility within the department which will be rewarded with a TLR payment. This will commence in September 2025.
The successful candidate will be committed to developing learning strategies which challenge and interest all of our students and will have the drive and determination to move us closer to our ultimate goal of becoming an ‘outstanding’ school.
