Financial Analyst
Purpose of the role
This position is in the Cost of Sales & Inventory COE (COSI) organization, which performs end to end Cost and Inventory accounting and provides support to our global manufacturing and distribution network. We are a diverse and international team based in Amsterdam, operating in a global and dynamic environment.
Main Responsibilities
* Create and maintain product cost for assigned manufacturing and distribution entities, and support global productivity calculation during annual budget process.
* Analyze and report production results to business partners.
* Review consolidated cost and intercompany profit differences at HQ level.
* Analyze inventory movements, standard revision, and purchase price variances.
* Collaborate with country finance teams, shared service center and HQ teams during financial close, take corrective actions where needed.
* Reconcile inventory related P&L and Balance sheet accounts.
* Participate in process improvement and business transformation projects.
Your profile
* Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, or another related field.
* 3 years of relevant analytical work experience in finance/accounting.
* Experience with SAP and BI tools is preferred.
* Advanced MS Excel and data analytics skills.
* Fluency in written and spoken English is mandatory.
* Proactive, team player with enthusiasm to learn.
* Cost accounting and/or experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus.
* An Excel test will be part of the selection process.
