Commercial Insurance Account Executive / New Business Leads Provided
Location: Finchley, North West London
Salary: Up to c65k base (DOE Negotiable), Bonus 20% of New Business Income, 35 Days Holiday including Bank Holidays and Flex Benefits
Our client is at the forefront of the Commercial Insurance broking market and has a reputation for employing some of the most respected insurance professionals. They are now looking to add to their existing office with a Commercial Account Executive.
This is a unique opportunity as our client seeks Insurance Professionals who are looking to develop their career with a highly respected Broker. The role will consist of contacting new clients regarding their commercial insurance requirements. The leads are provided to you.
Overview of the Position
The role will consist of developing accounts with premiums in excess of £10,000 across all classes of Commercial Insurance from our client's existing client base, lead generation team, and developing your own pipeline. You will receive the full support and backing of a designated account handler who will work with you on market presentations and obtain quotations from the market for the risks you are tendering for.
Candidate Requirements
Our client is looking for a candidate who has the following:
1. At least 5 years of Commercial Insurance experience in an Account Executive/Development position.
2. Excellent negotiation skills with insurers and prospects.
3. A desire to develop new business.
4. An ability to meet and exceed targets and KPIs.
5. Excellent knowledge of the insurance market and its trends.
6. CII or progress towards it is desirable.
Skills
1. Commercial general insurance experience within either a broker or insurer environment.
2. Capability and experience to deal with significant commercial insurance clients.
3. Excellent face-to-face and telephone communication skills to enhance customer relationships.
4. Confidence in negotiation - tackling and addressing insurer objections to achieve the best results for our clients' customers.
5. Ability to work enthusiastically and, essentially, to timescales.
6. Willingness to undertake bespoke internal computer and technical training together with professional examinations as required.
