We’re currently undergoing recruitment for an experienced Timber Frame Erector / Supervisor to join our newest dynamic client. Although this company is based in Wrexham, the position will require you to undertake project-based site work across the country.

07:30 – 16:30 (Although hours may vary)
£25.00 per hour (£200 per day)

The ideal candidate will possess expertise in timber frame erection, exceptional attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering projects to the highest industry standards.
You will work on a variety of projects, including residential homes, commercial properties, hospital, schools and bespoke builds, ensuring precision, safety, and craftsmanship at every stage of the construction process.
Main roles and responsibilities:
Erecting timber frame structures on-site according to technical drawings, plans, and project specifications.
Ensuring frames are constructed accurately and securely, maintaining alignment, and adhering to engineering requirements.
Working closely with site supervisors, engineers, and other trades to ensure seamless project execution.
Adhering to all relevant health and safety regulations, including proper use of PPE and site protocols.
Identifying and resolving on-site issues that may arise during frame assembly or construction.
Inspecting materials and ensuring all installations meet company and client standards.
Assisting with the preparation of the site, unloading materials, and organising components for efficient assembly.
Maintaining and operating tools and equipment safely and effectively.
Skills and Requirements:
Minimum of 2-3 years’ experience in timber frame erection or a similar role in construction is essential.
All versions of CSCS Cards are essential for this role.
Full Clean UK Driving licence with willingness to travel to various sites is essential.
Previous experience in crane supervision is essential.
Be an experience Site Safety Supervisor.
Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings and technical specifications.
Fully Qualified signaller for Cranes.
Strong background in carpentry or joinery, with precision cutting and measuring skills.
Capable of performing physically demanding tasks, including working at height.
Commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.
Knowledge of site safety regulations; certifications such as SMSTS or First Aid (desirable but not essential).
Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being self-motivated.
Timber framing requirements: Highest End, SIPs and Lower End all essential for this role.
