We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join a supportive team at a welcoming school in High Wycombe. In this important role, you will provide 1:1 support to primary-aged children with special educational needs, helping them gain confidence, overcome obstacles, and reach their full potential. As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you'll collaborate closely with teachers and other staff to deliver a tailored curriculum that addresses the unique needs of each student. Your contribution will be essential in fostering an inclusive, nurturing environment where all children can flourish. Responsibilities ✅Provide 1:1 or small group support to assist children in overcoming learning barriers. ✅Support classroom activities, adjusting the curriculum as required to meet the specific learning needs of each student. ✅Foster a positive, inclusive, and engaging learning atmosphere. ✅Assist students in managing emotional and behavioural challenges in a constructive way. Requirements A Teaching Assistant qualification is preferred but not essential. A strong passion for working with children with additional needs. Experience in a school or educational environment is advantageous but not required. Resilience, empathy, and the ability to remain calm in challenging situations.
