Role Overview
As an Art Teacher, you will lead inspiring lessons that develop students creativity, technical skills, and appreciation of art. Youll have the opportunity to teach across Key Stage 3 and 4 (and Key Stage 5 for the right candidate), fostering a love of the arts in a supportive and dynamic classroom.
Key Responsibilities
* Plan and deliver high-quality Art lessons across Key Stage 3 and 4 (with the potential for Key Stage 5).
* Create a positive, stimulating, and safe learning environment for students to explore various artistic mediums.
* Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback.
* Contribute to the development of the Art curriculum and extra-curricular activities.
* Encourage students to develop their creativity, confidence, and self-expression.
The Ideal Candidate
* A qualified teacher with QTS (PGCE, CertEd, or equivalent).
* Passionate about teaching Art with strong subject knowledge.
* Experience teaching Art at Key Stage 3 and 4 (experience with Key Stage 5 is desirable but not essential).
* A creative, motivated, and flexible approach to teaching.
* Strong classroom management and communication skills.
