What will the Finance Manager role involve?

Dynamic Industry: As a market leading Manufacturer/Distributor, you'll work within sectors such as aerospace and defence, ensuring your skills remain at the cutting edge of industry developments.
Varied Role: This is a broad role, and will need someone to be comfortable with operating on both financial accounting and technical matters, as well as supporting with commercial and operational finance.

Team Management: Leading a small team consisting of two management accountants and an accounts assistant, whilst also managing relationships with our accounting and tax advisors in each of our European bases, along with Finance staff at the Corporate HQ in the USA.
Collaboration: Business partner and trusted advisor to the European team, along with Global managers and Directors.
Key Responsibilities:
* Supporting the development and implementation of FP&A processes.
* Engaging in business partnering to aid strategic decision-making.
* Contributing to the enhancement of our financial practices in line with their growth trajectory.
* Oversee month-end closing process including journal entry and financial statement review.
* Coordinate/facilitate the annual financial audit with the Company’s external auditors, including the preparation of year-end schedules for all international operations and the audit of international legal entities.
* Analyse and interpret financial data versus budget and prior year results and report to management with detailed narrative to aid decision making.
* Create reporting as required to support all queries on financial data.
Suitable Candidate for the Finance Manager vacancy:
* Must be ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified.
* Experience in distribution and/or manufacturing/ engineering environment is preferred but not essential.
* Experience with international financial transactions and operational sites / legal entities.
* Experience in multiple countries, multiple cultures, multiple operations.
