The Role…
We have an exciting and brand-new opportunity for an IAM qualified professional to join us, as key member of the Asset Delivery Planning team as we embark on the AMP8 five-year investment cycle with Anglian Water.
This is a unique chance to be involved in one of the UK's largest main-laying programmes.
You will be responsible for planning and conducting investigations into water and water recycling investments, including risks, needs and schemes, following the TOTEX Investment Process.
For each identified need, you will develop a range of TOTEX solutions, managing delivery partners throughout the process.
Here are some of the activities that you’ll get involved in…
* Lead investigations into asset risks, including conducting site inspections, data gathering, and evaluating findings to identify business needs and risks.
* Develop and promote detailed Totex solutions, preparing cost estimates, and conducting risk & benefit analyses to address operational problems.
* Calculate and evaluate the carbon and climate change impact of options.
* Manage stakeholder relationships, ensuring seamless transitions between investigation, solution development, and project delivery stages.
* Lead the ROV process to evaluate and validate investment strategies, driving collaboration and challenge among stakeholders.
* Ensure alignment with business objectives and maintain visibility across the full investment lifecycle.
We would love to hear from you, if you can demonstrate…
Degree or equivalent qualification in a relevant field (e.g., engineering, asset management).
IAM qualification or equivalent experience.
Experience in cost estimating and using costing tools
Proven ability to develop and evaluate risk/benefit strategies and resolve business issues.
Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders effectively.
