Job Type: Full Time – Flexible work schedule w/ after hours + weekend coverage as directed
Summary of Position: We kick butt here at Jets.com! All while maintaining a fun positive work environment. As a Flight Coordinator, you will be managing all aspects of client flights including sourcing, pricing, and organizing all clients' flight requests. You will be required to develop a thorough understanding of aircraft pricing strategies, industry basis of aircraft sourcing pools, aircraft fulfillment options, and market awareness with training and experience.
Duties & Responsibilities:
* Source aircraft on all flight requests while organizing and tracking all logistics pertaining to the full client experience.
* Develop knowledge base of all aircraft fulfillment options, pricing options, and market awareness.
* Cultivate negotiating strategies while building strong operator vendor relationships.
* Track and maintain flights on all client and operator levels, internally + externally.
* Coordinate and communicate with sales brokers and management with precise prompt information.
* Handle confidential and proprietary information.
* Work within a fast-paced detail-oriented environment.
* Meet monthly flight and margin goals.
* Flexible work schedule - start/stop determined by client and aircraft schedules, as well as rotational weekend coverage and off shift in support of a 24/7/365 schedule.
* Travel to other Jets.com office locations and industry conferences 3-4 times a year.
* Other duties as directed by management.
Requirements:
* College degree in a related field preferred or Operations experience in a service environment.
* Able to perform in a fast-paced, multitasking environment.
* Superb written and verbal communication skills.
* FAA Part 135 operations a plus.
* Excellent analytical skills.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
* Detail-oriented.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other office productivity tools, with aptitude to learn new software and systems.
* FAA Pilot's License is preferred but not required.
Note: This position will require schedule flexibility and is therefore not suited for someone with strict schedule limitations or inability to work nights and weekends.
