We are seeking an experienced Account Manager to join a well-established market leader in the Void Property Security and Maintenance industry.
The Role:
As the Key Account Manager, you will act as the main point of contact for assigned clients, developing and maintaining long-term relationships, ensuring customers receive services in a timely fashion.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships.
2. Prepare client reports.
3. Participate in and attend client meetings.
4. Handle all calls in a professional manner.
5. Load new work instructions from clients onto CRM system.
6. Allocate tasks to contractors and manage through to completion.
7. Work independently without instruction.
8. Follow up with other departments to be aware of maintenance/repair issues for your clients.
9. Manage the handling of any complaints in accordance with agreed escalation processes.
10. Proactively monitor own workload and prioritize actions where required; ability to multitask and prioritize is essential for this role.
11. Handle accounting procedures including signing off contractor invoices, sending invoices to clients, and liaising with Accounts/Credit Control regarding unpaid invoices.
12. Collaborate with the Sales Team to identify and grow new opportunities.
Job Requirements / Experience and Qualifications:
1. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
2. Hard-working, flexible, adaptable, and able to use own initiative.
3. Excellent organizational and prioritization skills.
4. Ability to multitask and work within a fast-paced environment.
5. Experience with CRM software and MS Office (Word, Outlook, and Excel).
6. Technical knowledge of small building works is desirable but not essential; Property Industry experience is a plus.
7. Ability to gain important information early in communications with clients to avoid delays, such as access information, purchase orders, etc.
8. Ensure that all internal/external correspondence and system updates are accurate, clear, concise, and appropriate for the intended audience.
9. Ability to communicate with trades and sub-contractors to ensure timely completion of instructions.
10. Ability to manage multiple jobs while maintaining a sharp attention to detail.
