The Role As part of a multi-disciplinary team, you will manage a defined caseload, using evidence based practice and client centred principles to assess, plan, implement and evaluate interventions in both hospital and community settings. You will be expected to develop relevant clinical skills, knowledge and experience without direct supervision. What we'll need you to bring Registered Occupational Therapist with valid HCPC Registration Knowledge of application of the theory underpinning OT practice The post holder will be required to demonstrate excellent team working skills with the ability to work using own initiative Effective listening, communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work with people and as part of a multidisciplinary team Excellent time management skills Working knowledge of basic information technology It would be great if you also have OT Practice Education course Further Education and CPD in relation to the post including relevant projects and research studies Practice Education experience relevant to the post Previous voluntary or employment experience or research proposal/project relevant to the post Basic knowledge of legislation, policy and procedures which impact on practice Supervision and appraisal skills Positive role modelling and leadership skills Contract type Permanent Full time 37 hours Location and Working Pattern This role will be based in the Occupational Therapy department within University Hospital Wishaw The working pattern for this role is: Rotational Looking to find out more?
