Working hours for the post will be Monday to Friday 0730-1530 (including a 60 minutes unpaid break) paid at Stirling Council Grade 4.
An exciting opportunity has arisen at Facilities Management, Stirling Council at St Marys Bannockburn Primary School for a permanent janitor. The post will involve providing janitorial services on a full-time basis in support of the school community.
Personal protective equipment will be provided and training where necessary. Applicants will require be physically fit, as porterage and other heavy lifting forms a large part of the role, and be prepared at times to work outdoors in inclement weather. Occasional overtime working at evenings to cover school lets will also be required.
Applicants will also require a basic working knowledge of IT and be willing to undertake training to allow them to utilise Stirling Council online training and human resources IT applications.
The successful candidate will be required to be a member of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups Scheme (PVG) for Children. If your application is progressed after the interview, you will be asked to complete the form and have your details verified.
