We have been a member of the Outwood Family since 2009, and in our latest 2023 Ofsted inspection the academy was graded Good in all categories. The inspection noted ‘the school has a supportive and caring culture. Staff build positive and friendly relationships with pupils. Pupils achieve their full potential, with staff feeling proud to work at the school’. We offer a holistic education that makes learning stimulating, engaging and enjoyable for every student with the ambition to succeed. The inspectors were equally complimentary about our sixth form provision, with a wide range of courses on offer; including A Levels, vocational qualifications and T-levels. In our drive for exceptionality, the academy will become a specialised setting for T-Levels in September 2025. We have also won numerous awards as a school and we have been accredited with the prestigious IQM Award, in addition to being an IQM Centre of Excellence for 3 years, which highlights that inclusion at all levels is of paramount importance to us. We are also proud to have been awarded Silver Status by the Carnegie Centre of Excellence for Mental Health Award. Outwood Academy Adwick are seeking applications from committed individuals to work as Midday Supervisors within the Academy. As a Midday Supervisor you will ensure the security, safety, well-being and care of the children is maintained during the lunchtime period. You will also aim to promote the children’s social, emotional and physical development when outside the classroom. The hours of this position are Monday to Friday, 2 hours per day (1145am - 1.45pm), term time only.
