Job Title: Safeguarding Support Officer (Permanent)
Flexibility: Flexibility to work from a variety of places including our office at Gadbrook Park, Northwich and home (dependent on the job role and the needs of our customer, our organisation and our teams).

Weaver Vale Housing Trust has an exciting opportunity for someone who is looking to develop their career with a great company. We are seeking a motivated, reliable conscientious Safeguarding Support Officer, with great organisational skills to support the work we do to safeguard our customers. The successful candidate will have significant experience of working in an administrative support environment and in the preparation of confidential documentation.
What Will You Do?
• Provide effective and efficient administrative support in relation to Safeguarding.
• Provide administrative support to the Trust's training programme around Safeguarding.
• Responsible for triaging the Safeguarding@ email inbox, ensuring incoming mail is recorded and actioned according to Trust Policy and Procedure.
• Manage and record requests for information from statutory partners in relation to safeguarding, including report preparation for multi-agency meetings e.g., Child Protection (CP), Team Around the Family (TAF), Child in Need (CIN).
• Responsible for the collation and preparation of reports to support MARAC (Multi Agency Risk Assessment Conference).
• Follow the Trust’s Equality & Diversity, Health and Safety, Data Protection, Safeguarding and Customer Services policies.
Minimum Requirements For This Role:
• A minimum of three 4-9 / A* – C Grade GCSE’s (including English) or equivalent level of qualification or relevant experience.
• Self-motivated with an ability to organise and adapt to varying workloads and balance competing priorities.
• Experience of working in a customer-focused environment.
• Ability to manage confidential material and issues.
• Ability to show empathy and understanding to customer’s needs.
• Demonstrate proficient use of Microsoft Office packages (Word, Excel, and Teams).
This role will require the successful candidate to undergo a DBS check.
