Main duties of the job To deliver the public health role as a SCPHN Health Visitor working with communities and partner agencies and delivering the core contacts within the Healthy Child Programme. To provide health visiting services to families in the community team caseload by delivering the Healthy Child Programme. To manage a defined active caseload and take responsibility for Safeguarding Children issues within that caseload. To have continuing responsibility for the assessment of individuals needs and the development, implementation and evaluation of programmes of care. To prescribe according to assessed individual need from the Nurse Prescribing Formulary. To manage a team of health visiting support staff.
